Allwest Training has become the first training organisation in the world to leverage blockchain technology to prevent document forgeries.

The Western Australian Registered Training Organisation is well regarded as a specialist in on site training for the building and civil construction industries.

Their transition into the blockchain space has been made possible using a patented verification solution designed by VeriDoc Global. The blockchain company has developed a system to ensure that employers and authorities are looking at a true and correct certificate issued by Allwest Training.

“Safety has always been our number one concern”, said Bob Cooper who owns Allwest Training. “Our competency-based training means that the people who have earned their qualifications, can do what their qualification says they can do. It also means that the people around them will be safe when heavy equipment and vehicles are being used on site.”

VeriDoc Global’s QR code blockchain solution has enormous potential in other areas as well, with the Australian Hon. Victor Dominello MP, Minister for Finance, Services and Property presenting an e-driver’s licence at the CRN Pipeline IT event last week in Sydney, which also showcased a QR code.
